“We are extremely excited to be part of Lauderdale’s TSL campaign for 2019 and beyond”

Lauderdale, Tasmania – SkyBus announced today it will become the major sponsor of the Lauderdale Football Club in the TSL for 2019.

SkyBus co-CEO Michael Sewards said the sponsorship will include ground and guernsey signage for the senior and junior Bombers.

“We are extremely excited to be part of Lauderdale’s TSL campaign for 2019 and beyond,” Mr Sewards said.

“The sponsorship deal is for the next two years, but we like to look at the longer-term with great community enterprises like Lauderdale.”

Lauderdale President Julie Kay said the club was honoured to be the first community organisation to be sponsored by SkyBus.

“The sponsorship funding will go to junior development in particular and we will be putting a junior development officer into the schools in our zone,” Ms Kay said.

“We will also be using the sponsorship for much-needed facilities at the ground. It’s great to have SkyBus on board as a partner. They are very committed to and involved in local communities.”

Lauderdale’s home will become SkyBus Oval and there will be major signage around the ground and on the scoreboard.

“The Bombers have been runners-up the past two seasons against arch-rival North Launceston and we look forward to the coming season,” Mr Sewards said.

“We think the club is on the right track to become even more successful in the State League.”
