SkyBus is running a special event service from 22 - 26 January 2026, in support of the Foo Fighters gig at UTAS Stadium.

SkyBus Launceston Express is a limited event service operating between Launceston Airport and Launceston CBD from 22 to 26 January 2026 only. Tickets purchased for the Launceston Express are valid exclusively on this service during this operating period. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be used on any other SkyBus service or dates outside of the operating period. All other SkyBus standard ticketing conditions apply. City-bound services: 22 to 24 January
From Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 January, the Launceston Express runs from Launceston Airport to Launceston CBD, with services scheduled to meet all arriving flights.
Departure times may vary based on variations to flight arrival times as SkyBus will wait to meet delayed arrivals at Launceston Airport. To check if a flight has been delayed click here.
Airport-bound services: 25 to 26 January
From Saturday 25 to Monday 26 January, the Launceston Express runs from Launceston CBD to Launceston Airport. View timetable for departure times.
