The creators of South Park and Avenue Q – Robert LopezTrey Parker, and Matt Stone – bring a musical comedy about two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to Uganda to try and teach the local residents the way of the Lord.

Elder Price, a Mormon star in the making, is a faithful, Bible devotee who hoped to be sent to Orlando but to his disdain, ends up being paired with Elder Cunningham an optimistic, socially awkward, compulsive liar. The two missionaries naively stumble through their interactions with the locals and come to a realisation that a successful mission may not be as easy as they may have initially expected.

The Book of Mormon is filled with intelligent humour which is combined with witty and highly addictive numbers that will have you humming for weeks later.

Don’t miss The Book of Mormon in its final month in Theatre, playing at the Princess Theatre until 30 July 2017.
