State Rose And Garden Show Set To Take Full Bloom
Spring has returned and with flowers in full bloom, garden enthusiast and plant lovers are gathering as the State Rose and Garden Show takes over the Victorian State Rose Garden and the historic Werribee Mansion. From 14 -15 November, some of the finest examples of horticultural excellence that Australia has to offer will be on display.
Attracting some of the biggest names in gardening, the event will host the likes of Channel 9 garden guru Melissa King, Gardening Australia’s Jane Edmanson OAM and SBS Garden to Kitchen master Vasili Kanidiadis who will be taking over the Bunnings main stage to share their gardening tips and expert advice.
With free admission over two huge days, the Victorian State Rose Garden at Werribee Park will transform into a garden enthusiast paradise with over 5000 roses in full bloom covering more than six acres, providing visitors with a boutique garden experience and all of the tricks of the trade for their own backyard.
Guests will have the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the Werribee Mansions prestigious rose garden, learn about unique plant varieties, taste a range of food from food trucks on site and learn from some of Australia’s expert gardeners and industry professionals.
Located just 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD and with a range of kids activities and entertainment across both days, the event is set to be one for the whole family.
Gates open at 10am both days and The State Rose and Garden Show provides everything for both the green thumb or gardening novice, and is a truly unique floral experience not to be missed.
