In 1956, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe famously recreated George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion to create acclaimed Broadway musical My Fair Lady. The musical captivated the world with the Cinderella story depicting a clash of cultures beautifully told with witty dialogue and delightful songs.

Julie Andrews the star of the 1956 original Broadway musical, now directs a host of Australian theatre stars alongside Tony Award-winning Christopher Gattelli and associates of the musical’s original designers Cecil Beaton and Oliver Smith.

Andrews brings to life lavish sets and extravagant costumes to accompany the thrilling score featuring unforgettable numbers including Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?, On The Street Where You Live, I Could Have Danced All Night and Get Me to the Church on Time.

My Fair Lady is now playing at the Regent Theatre until 9th of July.
