Beaker Street Festival
3 August 2021
From science and art to innovation and compelling ideas, the Beaker Street Festival will inspire and engage Tasmanians and visitors alike from 6 to 14 August.
There is something for everyone to enjoy over the 9-day event including talks from world-leading scientists, live music, installations, performances and hands-on microscopy.
The central hub of entertainment, hosted at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery in Hobart, offers attendees a place to collaborate with like-minded individuals sharing ideas, culture, and expertise, all while enjoying Tasmania’s finest food and drinks.
But that’s not all - there’s more to be enjoyed when venturing outside of the central entertainment hub. Enjoy the Sci Art Crawl around Hobart, scientist-led tours and cruises, small-group talks and dinners with scientists on the Tassie Science Road Trip.
Some events require purchased tickets but there is also a series of completely free events for all to enjoy. See what takes your fancy at this year’s extravaganza by viewing the full program and booking information on the Beaker Street website.
