SkyBus extends commitment as naming sponsor for the Frankston Dolphins Football Club

"We are proud of our association with the Dolphins and wish them all the success for the 2019 season. Clearly their energy and desire for success both on and off the field resonates with a growing business like SkyBus."

Frankston, Australia – Melbourne’s own SkyBus have extended their commitment as naming sponsor for the Frankston Dolphins Football Club for 2019. SkyBus, have also welcomed their first Victorian built bus into their growing Peninsula Express fleet, with more Victorian built buses soon to follow.

The renewed partnership and new investment comes as SkyBus introduces more services into the Peninsula Airport Express operating from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport through Frankston all the way to Rosebud.

Michael Sewards, Co-CEO and Director of SkyBus said “We are proud of our association with the Dolphins and wish them all the success for the 2019 season. Clearly their energy and desire for success both on and off the field resonates with a growing business like SkyBus.

We have recently introduced additional evening services from Frankston to Tullamarine, and more daily services from Mornington and have already seen strong patronage growth as a result. Retaining our support for the Dolphins for our second year as naming sponsor of Frankston Dolphins was an obviously easy decision to make.

The Peninsula service with Free WiFi, online and onboard ticketing, Seniors tickets and Free Kids Travel, is now the fastest growing service of the entire 15 services across the 5 airports we service in Aust/NZ”

“Since Day 1 of our Frankston Airport service we have received great support from local MP Paul Edbrooke and the Victorian Government. Assisting us in obtaining our new stop at Frankston station has been very popular with airport departing passengers.

As proud Victorians it will also be great to see so many airport travelers now supporting local manufacturing by choosing to catch the Victorian built SkyBus”

“We welcome the support of SkyBus to assist the Frankston Dolphins during their 2019 season, and its great to see the first famous red SkyBus vehicles made in Victoria being delivered to the Frankston service first.” Paul Edbrooke, MP

Frankston Dolphins will kick off the season at their home ground SkyBus Stadium against rivals Essendon on April 7th 2019. More details at www.frankstonfc.com.au
