Byron Bay Express operates seven days a week, 365 days of the year.
With reinstated border checkpoints between Queensland and New South Wales, all passengers must have a border pass when entering Queensland.
Delays of up to an hour can also be expected, so we advise passengers to please allow for extra travel time.

Byron Bay Express departs Jonson Street, Shirley Street and Ewingsdale Road. Departures shown in local timezone. Daylight savings applies in Byron Bay from 4 October 2020 to 4 April 2021.
Airport to Byron Bay
SkyBus departure point is located directly outside the Domestic arrivals end of Gold Coast Airport. Daylight savings does not apply on the Gold Coast.
Byron Bay Express travels between Gold Coast Airport in Queensland and Byron Bay in New South Wales. Daylight saving is observed in New South Wales but not in Queensland so there are times of the year when Gold Coast Airport and Byron Bay observe different timezones.
Timetable departures are shown in their local timezone. For Gold Coast Airport this is always Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). For Byron Bay this is Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) when daylight savings is being observed and AEST outside of this period.
Byron Bay observes daylight savings from 2am on the first Sunday in October to 3am on the first Sunday in April. For 2020 – 2021 the daylight savings period will be Sunday 4 October 2020 to Sunday 4 April 2021.
