Summer’s biggest hit, the Big Bash League is back for another season, and this year is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. The Big Bash League sees eight teams from around the country compete in a domestic Twenty-20 cricket tournament, in both men’s and women’s competitions. There is a match every day for the next 6 weeks, with plenty of double headers thrown in for good measure. The excitement, big hits and big wickets are inescapable over the holiday period.

The Big Bash attracts the best T20 players from Australia and internationally resulting in an electrifying and skilful competition, watched my millions around Australia and the world. It is a family-friendly competition focusing on crowd engagement, entertainment and fun. With music blaring and fireworks at every match there is never dull moment.

The Melbourne derby has proven to be the biggest day on the Big Bash calendar with thousands packing into the MCG to watch the Renegades and Stars do battle. You can catch this match on January 6, as well as the second Melbourne derby held at Etihad Stadium on January 12.
