About Skybus

Skybus operates the world-class public transport service between Melbourne Airport Tullamarine and the CBD, transporting more than one million air travellers a year on one of Victoria's busiest routes. Skybus is a private, family owned company and has run the flagship airport to city route since 1978.

Maintaining Skybus' position at the leading edge of public transport and ensuring the service is a vital part of Victoria's tourism industry are our primary goals. It is important for us to deliver high standard services that our staff can be proud of and to do it in such a way that passengers and the community benefit.

That's why we operate vehicles custom-designed for airport transfers on both our express Skybus Super Shuttle airport to city route, and our city transfer service, Skybus Hotel Shuttle. Our express Super Shuttle operates 24-hours, seven-days-a-week, with departures every 10-15 minutes during the day and tickets, at only $16, one-third the cost of a taxi. We have also introduced online ticketing, making it even easier to travel with Skybus.

Skybus' small but dedicated workforce is passionate about delivering world-class service to people travelling to and from the Melbourne Airport Tullamarine. They are ambassadors for our city and our state and we provide them with a culture, training and skills to deliver on this promise to our passengers.

Simply by choosing to travel on Skybus, passengers are reducing the impact on the environment. To build on that, we have signed up to the Greenfleet carbon neutral program, to offset our bus emissions by planting trees. We are also signatories to the International Public Transport Association's Charter on Sustainable Development.
