Major events restrictions – SkyBus Hotel Transfer Service

We regret that the SkyBus Hotel Transfer Service is not available to and from venues adjacent to the Melbourne Cricket Ground, East Melbourne and Etihad Stadium, Docklands when these venues are being used for major events. This is due to traffic restrictions.

The restriction period takes effect 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the event, 30 minutes prior to the scheduled finish time and 90 minutes after the end of the event.

During major events, it’s a good idea to use trams and trains to and from these areas to connect with the SkyBus service at Southern Cross Station.
